happy august! 🩷

After a long day, Bërg's Hyunjin kidnapped Liesbon's Karina for a café date because he said I deserved a little break. I wasn't planning on going anywhere today, but somehow I can never say no when he asks.. We ordered coffee, shared desserts, argued over which one tasted better, and laughed because he kept feeding me even though I told him I could eat by myself. He said watching me enjoy good food was somehow his favorite thing. At one point he looked at me out of nowhere and went, "Have I told you how pretty you are today?" I laughed and told him he says that every day. Then he smiled and replied, "Because it's true every day." Okay, maybe that's why I still blush every single time. We stayed until our drinks melted, took random pictures, played with the café's fluffy cat, and talked until neither of us noticed how late it had gotten. I guess this is what people mean when they say home isn't always a place, sometimes it's just a person sitting across the table from you.

As soon as they entered, Lóuz's Sungchan grinned and said, “Treat me to some snacks tonight, please?” Bërg's Eunseok frowned and crossed his arms. “What? No way! Why do you always ask me to pay?” he complained jokingly. Lóuz's Sungchan laughed. “Because you’re rich, kind, and my best friend.” Bërg's Eunseok rolled his eyes but could not hide his smile.

I said snacks, not the entire store!” he exclaimed, making Lóuz's Sungchan laugh. After a while, Bërg's Eunseok finally gave in and agreed to pay. They checked out and stepped into the cool night air. “Thanks for the treat,” Lóuz's Sungchan said. Bërg's Eunseok sighed dramatically. “You owe me next time.” “Deal,” Lóuz's Sungchan replied, and the two friends headed home, enjoying their snacks.
