We didn’t plan anything tonight. Cherrilane’s Carmen and I just met after a long day, had dinner at a quiet spot we both liked, then walked for a while with no clear destination. The streets were calm, the kind of calm that makes you want to speak softly even when there’s no one else around. We talked a little, mostly about things that didn’t really matter, but somehow felt grounding. Laughed at a few memories, pointed at random lights in the distance, and paused more often than usual. My birthday’s coming up in a few days, but tonight wasn’t about that. It was just time, unrushed, unfiltered, and shared. Nights like this don’t ask to be remembered, but I think I’ll carry this one for a while. 🎆
