Cloudy afternoons always feel heavier when your playlist suddenly turns emotional. Somehow, today both of us ended up sitting quietly by the riverside with our earphones on, letting NIKI’s songs play on repeat like they personally knew what was inside our heads.

Before everything became too overwhelming, we—Caelthwynn’s Ryu Sarang and Cathéct’s Juun—decided to escape for a while and spend the evening near the river. The weather was calm, the wind felt cold enough to make us dramatic for no reason, and lyric sounded too relatable. “NIKI mimpi apa ya tiba-tiba buat lagu begini…” Juun laughed while throwing tiny rocks into the water. “Yakan, kayak tau aja isi hati kita,” Ryu Sarang replied with a laugh.

Not every bad day needs a perfect solution. Sometimes all we need is someone who stays beside us, shares the same sad playlist, laughs during random conversations, and reminds us that things won’t feel this heavy forever. We keep today’s little riverside healing session in our memories. ♥️
