Geisler’s Riki sat casually on the sofa. The small lights on the ceiling reflected on the glass. His expression was calm, his eyes still following the person who had just walked out of the perfume shop. Seretti’s Wonyoung walked over with several shopping bags in her hands.

Riki immediately stood up. “Shopping again?” Wonyoung placed one bag on the floor near the sofa. “Just perfume and a few other things.” Without saying much, Riki took two of the bags from Wonyoung’s hands. “Eh—”

“Heavy,” he said. Wonyoung looked at him for a moment before finally letting Riki carry the bags. They walked until Wonyoung stopped in front of an expensive bag store. At the cashier counter, Wonyoung placed a white chain bag on the table. “This one.” When the payment machine was turned on, Wonyoung was about to take out her card, but Riki’s hand moved first. He casually placed his card on the machine. Wonyoung immediately turned to him. “Riki.” Riki waited until the transaction was finished. “Just think of it as a gift,” he said lightly.

“Done? Or are there still other stores?” Wonyoung held back a small smile before finally walking beside him again.

On this beautiful afternoon, Berthouven opened its gates for a little escape from the usual bustle. Berthouven’s Giselle gathered a lovely circle of friends: Letheris’ Soobin, Hefflins’ Soobin, Mondcroft’s Karina, Romanovna’s Lia, Schafer’s Chaewon, Schafer’s Giselle, Shellford’s Lia, Siegern’s Lia, Courthlace’s Yoonseo, Nikolovich’s Eric, Lysmere’s Karina, Seretti’s Lia, Diaz’s Giselle, Mills’ Chaemin, Luevine’s Jeno, and Grachter’s Soobin, for a simple picnic under the warm sun.

Blankets scattered across the garden, baskets brimming with little treats, laughter floating easily through the air while stories were shared between bites and warm sunlight. A day at Berthouven’s house that no one quite wanted to end, filled with laughter, lovely company, and small moments that quietly turned into cherished memories.
