Versions of Font Manager from 1.9.x onward will require KernelSU 0.8.0+ due to changes in module handling on those versions. Also please note current versions of Font Manager do not support these newer KernelSU versions.

Magisk requirement doesn't change - 24.0+ onward, with official Magisk recommended.

⚠️ Due to unforeseen complications, Font Manager and AMM v3 updates will be delayed.

KernelSU has changed behavior surrounding the module system in recent versions. While we evaluate the best path forward, we will be holding off on updates. In addition, we may start enforcing a maximum KernelSU version, to ensure our ability to support it.

Font Manager 1.9.0 is out on Google Play!

This release includes many optimizations and improvements, including:
- Fix for KernelSU versions 0.8.0+
- Note support for older KernelSU versions is dropped. In addition, KernelSU users may encounter issues if they force stop the app or do not allow Font Manager to run in the background.
- Most issues with KernelSU should be resolved by rebooting
- Update libraries
- Add more tips to the app to make it easier to use
- Optimize UI and UX
- Improve app fluidity/performance
- Misc fixes

⚠️ We have become aware of potential crashing with this release.

We've identified the issue and submitted a fixed version to Google play.

It should be available once Google approves it.

Font Manager 1.9.1 is out!

This release contains very important fixes, such as:
- Fix crash on startup on Google Play builds introduced in 1.9
- Properly implement edge to edge to prevent visual glitches. Transparent system bars are also disabled temporarily.
- Fix some theming issues
- Fix a bug in native code that could result in module creation failures

This release includes the following changes:
- Bugfixes around KernelSU handling, should be more resilient now
- Better crash handling
- Improved installation speed
- Improved UI in key areas
- Added ability to disable our patcher, although we don't recommend it
- Tweak patcher for better compatibility

Font Manager 1.10.0 is out now!

This release includes the following changes:
- Improve KernelSU handling
- You may now notice a placeholder module install itself. This is intended and the module is mostly empty.
- Improve HTTP handling which should improve app speed and reduce ANRs
- Improve Override Service to better handle edge cases
- Improve variable font handling (note most fonts still do not support variable fonts!)
- Fix warning dialog
- Fix incorrect copy failure error for some users
- Misc fixes and improvements

Important Notice:
* This release includes experimental APATCH support. Potential bugs and issues may occur while using Font Manager with this feature.
* For optimal stability, use Font Manager with official Magisk root solutions. Official kernelsu and APATCH solutions should also be compatible.

Font Manager 1.10.1 is out now 🎉

This release is focused on bugfixes, such as:
- Fix for APatch not being detected
- Speed up root detection, should bring marginal improvement app wide
- Few fixes around root status display
- Misc bugfixes and library updates

Note: QPR2 changed things related to fonts. While Font Manager continues to function, some fonts may not display correctly. We're working on resolving this in a future update.

This release includes fixes and new features like:
- New FRE for first time users
- New troubleshooting page to help users with issues
- Fix for the app would erroneously show an unknown font error in some cases
- Change: Make the google apps workaround off by default and instead move tips for fixing it to the troubleshooting section
- Update libraries
- UI improvements
- Misc improvements and crash fixes

NOTE: KernelSU and APatch users can now take advantage of our Zygisk based app fixes; however you must have Zygisk-Next installed!

⚠️ We are aware that APatch does not currently work with our apps for some users.

The underlying issue is not on our end as our app has all the necessary code to support APatch, but libsu (the library that we use for root operations in our utility library) has a known issue with APatch.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and will update the app as appropriate once libsu has an update.
