The plan was only to step out for a bit but the sight of a place full of jajanan jadul instantly made everyone switch direction and this afternoon turned into a mission to chase nostalgia. Ian Romanovna got excited over the colorful jelly sticks, Nahyun Bellinors and Keonho Schröder already guarded the front of the egg roll cart to get the ones fresh out of the fryer. JooBin Bellinors held a plastic bag filled with permen kacamata and permen kaki to share later, and Seonghyeon Altefiore was busy snapping photos esp when someone's hands got messy from opening the sauce carelessly, setting of laughter. On the carpet we laid out, Keonho Dulcé and Nahyun Schmidt relaxed with colorful es gabus, laughing when one of us couldn't handle eating the cilung covered in spicy sauce.

No long after, Ian Sjarn caught the smell of half-baked kue cubit and called out to the seller, making everyone turn at once. Nahyun Bosche, Ian Montgolfier and Seonghyeon Dulcé were at the front of to hunt for more snack, adding sweet iced tea to the order. Meanwhile, Seonghyeon Schäfer and Keonho Myldemoor raced to finish their es potong before they melted. Our snack bags were getting fuller, the noise louder and salty, sweet, spicy, cold flavors, blended into the laughter of us 2009-liners who simply weren't ready to go home yet.
