Louis Wyrmharrow met Ian Morthen at the library after classes, deciding to spend the afternoon catching up on a few assignments.
Walking through the bookshelves, briefly stopping by the literature section, and trying to decide where to sit. "Window seats?" Ian asked. Louis nodded. "Before someone else takes them."
"We barely finished a chapter," Ian laughed. Louis adjusted the books in his arms. "At least we know where to pick up next time."
Neither of them thought much of it. To Louis Wyrmharrow and Ian Morthen, it had simply been another afternoon at the library.

Somewhere between unfinished chapters, random book recommendations, and conversations that had nothing to do with studying, the afternoon slipped by faster than either of them realized. By the time they packed their things, the warm afternoon light had already settled across the campus.
Taking the longer way back, they stopped for a friendly stray cat that happily accepted the attention before a couple of photos somehow found their way onto Louis' phone.
