Gamaliel. read the whisper
Gamaliel & Julieth: THE COUPLE.

Gamaliel and Julieth were known as one of the most aesthetic couples in their neighborhood. Wherever they went, they looked like they came straight out of a lifestyle photoshoot. Clean outfits, matching colors, soft smiles, perfect vibes. People often thought Gamaliel was the calm leader in the relationship because he was hardworking, polite, and always looked confident. They were wrong. At home, Julieth was clearly in charge.

One morning, Gamaliel woke up early to prepare breakfast before work. He carefully made toast, coffee, and fruit on a neat wooden tray because he knew Julieth liked things to look nice. Even the strawberries were arranged by size. When Julieth came to the dining table, she looked at the plate in silence. Gamaliel immediately sat straighter. Julieth pointed at the toast. “Why is this one darker than the others?” Gamaliel blinked. “Rustic style?” She looked at him, he slowly took the toast back. “I’ll fix it.” Despite being a busy man who worked long hours, Gamaliel never forgot to send sweet messages during the day. Flowers, lunch reminders, compliments, random heart emojis, he did it all consistently. At noon, he texted her: Miss you already. A minute later, Julieth replied: Did you bring your lunch box or not? Gamaliel froze, he looked at the lunch box sitting on the kitchen counter in his memory. He typed slowly: ...No. Her reply came instantly. Come home after work, we need to talk. His coworker saw his face turn pale. “Everything okay?” Gamaliel nodded weakly. “I have made a serious mistake.” That evening, he came home carrying flowers, dessert, and her favorite drink like peace offerings. Julieth opened the door, looked at the items, then looked at him. “You forgot your lunch.” “Yes.” “You spent more money buying apology gifts.” “Yes.” She sighed and moved aside so he could enter. Gamaliel smiled carefully, that was a good sign. Later that night, they sat together on the balcony with warm lights around them. Julieth leaned on his shoulder while Gamaliel held her hand quietly. “You know I’m not scary,” she said. Gamaliel nodded immediately. “Of course.” She looked at him, he corrected himself. “Only a little.” Julieth laughed, and Gamaliel relaxed at last. Because no matter how strict she seemed, he knew one thing for sure, Julieth loved him deeply and Gamaliel would still be respectfully terrified tomorrow.

Andrea Roselain. read the whisper
Andrea & Lavie: Growing Up Side by Side.

Andrea and Lavie had been best friends since they were little kids with messy hair, scraped knees, and zero sense of danger. They grew up on the same street, went to the same school, and somehow stayed together through every weird phase of life. They had survived everything, matching bracelet eras, dramatic diary phases, bad haircut decisions, and the time Andrea tried to become a singer for one week.

Now they were teenagers, which mostly meant they were taller, louder, and somehow even more dramatic. Every morning, Lavie would wait outside Andrea’s house while Andrea was still choosing between five nearly identical outfits.

“Hurry up!” Lavie shouted from outside.
“I’m creating a look!” Andrea shouted back.
“You’re creating lateness!” When Andrea finally came out, Lavie stared at her for two seconds.

You changed shoes three times, didn’t you?”
Andrea adjusted her bag proudly. “That information is private.” At school, everyone knew they were a duo. If one was laughing somewhere, the other was probably nearby causing the reason. When Andrea forgot her homework, Lavie already had an extra pen and paper ready. When Lavie was nervous before presentations, Andrea would whisper dramatic support like she was a movie coach. “Go out there,” Andrea said once, fixing Lavie’s collar. “Show them confidence, show them grace, show them you memorized slide three.” Lavie laughed so hard she forgot to be nervous. They teased each other constantly, Andrea said Lavie walked too fast like she had somewhere important to be. Lavie said Andrea walked too slow like she was entering a fashion runway. Andrea called Lavie bossy, Lavie called Andrea chaotic. Both were correct.

One afternoon after school, they sat on the curb eating snacks and watching the sunset turn orange across the street. For once, neither of them was talking much. Lavie sighed. “Do you ever think everything is changing too fast?” Andrea looked at her. “Yeah. It’s weird.” School felt harder, people felt different, and growing up suddenly seemed less fun than it did in movies. Lavie looked down at her hands. “What if one day we become too busy and stop doing this?” Andrea immediately handed her half a snack. “Impossible.” Lavie raised an eyebrow. “That’s your serious answer?” Andrea nodded. “My serious answer is… life can get messy, but I’ll still annoy you forever.”.Lavie laughed softly. “That actually helps.” Andrea leaned against her shoulder. “Good. Because you’re stuck with me.” And maybe that was the best kind of friendship, someone who grows with you, laughs with you, and stays when everything else changes.
