reason why we broke up: the reason we broke up was not because we stopped loving each other, it was the timing and distance. both of us wanted different things at the same time, and instead of growing together, we slowly grew tired trying to meet in the middle. silence replaced our conversations, waiting took the place of effort, and love started to feel like something we were holding onto out of old habit, not true peace. Yealie, you were good to me—but holding on started to hurt more than letting go. that’s why I decided to end it, not out of anger, but because we both deserved a version of love that didn’t feel this heavy.

reason why we broke up: we broke up because loving her started to feel like being caught in a storm i couldn't get out of. she was like a storm i loved watching from afar, but up close her pain and self-doubt tore us apart until our home was a wreck. i gave everything i had, even when she blamed me for the chaos she'd put us both in. i tried to weather it, to stay, but it hurt more to love her than to let go. in the end, i realised she was always in the wrong. not because she was trying to hurt me, but because she hadn’t healed from her own wounds before she pulled me into them. so we had to break up, not because we didn't love each other, but because love by itself couldn't save us.

reason why we broke up: i tried to hold onto what was ours, but i always did it the wrong way. i let my own fear, doubt, and coldness turn into something heavier than the love we had. and she was there, giving it her all, while i was too caught up in my own doubt and fear to fully be there for her. i didn't lose her because she stopped loving me, but i lost her because i didn't know how to love her without letting my fears ruin it for us. i'm the one to blame.
