reason why we broke up: we broke up because somewhere along the way, i stopped being me and started being only what we thought we should be together. i loved her with everything i had. i gave her my heart, i trusted her completely, and that felt beautiful at first. but loving her like that meant losing parts of myself i didn’t realize i was letting go of. and when things changed between us, when the love that once felt safe began to hurt, i found myself struggling, not just with losing her, but with having lost me. that’s why we broke up.
