Some days are about chasing the big catch, but today was about chasing moments. From the calm riverside to the crashing waves, Léclair’s Haruto kept his eyes sharp on the line, patient as ever. Wyrmharrow’s Jeongwoo laughed at every tug, convinced it was the “one” each time, while Wyrmharrow’s Jay stood by with that quiet confidence, waiting for the ocean to give in. The sunset painted the water gold, the breeze carried the scent of salt and freedom, and for a while, time slowed down. Whether we reeled in fish or just memories, it didn’t matter—because in the end, these are the stories we’ll cast again and again.

Today, we finally kicked off our long awaited Japan trip a plan we’d been talking about for ages, all hyped up imagining the chilly air, sparkling city lights, We all agreed to wear matching outfits so our photos would look super aesthetic and squad goals. complete without a little chaos. Chyson’s Jake, Luthien’s Jake, Duisterg’s Sunoo, Chyson’s Sunoo, and Calsearth’s Sunghoon apparently never bothered to check the group chat, so they showed up in completely different colors from what we planned. Instead of ruining the vibe, their outfits actually gave our group a cool splash of color like an unplanned twist that made the whole look even more fun.

And speaking of fun, we had our fair share of comedy moments. Zachruelle’s Heeseung, Wyrmharrow’s Jay, and Gritner’s Ni-ki who are usually super detail somehow forgot the most basic thing bringing a change of clothes. Meanwhile, we were chilling at the airport, laughing our heads off when they came rushing back, out of breath, with shopping bags full of brand new clothes. In the end, our departure was filled with laughter from Swift’s Sunghoon, Geldart’s Jay, and Crowther’s Ni-ki a story we’ll probably bring up every single time we talk about this trip.
