Tonight started with Lumënair’s Kya suddenly showing up at Schröder’s Jiwoo place and demanding a midnight girls’ night as if it were the most normal thing ever. Not even twenty minutes later, the two of them were already wandering through a brightly lit convenience store while the city outside stayed quiet and half asleep. Kya kept throwing random things into the basket without thinking snacks, strawberry milk, candles, face masks, and way too many drinks while Jiwoo followed behind her looking one second away from losing patience.

The peaceful late-night shopping trip quickly turned chaotic when they started arguing over the dumbest things imaginable. Kya insisted every unnecessary item was “essential for the vibes,” meanwhile Jiwoo kept putting things back while questioning why they suddenly needed enough snacks to survive an apocalypse. Somewhere between stealing food from each other’s hands, laughing too loudly in empty aisles, and walking back outside under the glowing city lights with plastic bags swinging from their arms, the entire night started feeling weirdly warm in the best way possible.

By the time they got into the car with music playing softly in the background and snacks scattered everywhere between the seats, neither of them realized how easily an ordinary midnight shopping trip had turned into one of those nights they’d end up remembering for a long time.
