On a scintillating weekend, Schouvert’s Mama and Schmidt’s Uncoy decided to take a brief yet memorable break—just the two of us—after what felt like a long week of taking care of the kids! It was nice to finally take a fresh breath of air without the sounds of the little ones ringing in our ears as we went coffee-shop hopping and finally being one with the nature once more. Tender moments shared between us two and conversations that only we both know, we figured that it would only be nice if we were to share some of the snapshots that we took on our little date earlier today. Or.. Perhaps, should the both of us open a lovestagram instead? Maybe, then, we’ll be able to escape the kiddos and have more quality time together..? 👀♥️

That night, the atmosphere at the Schmidt residence was at its liveliest. There was a small barbecue gathering going on to celebrate… well, something. If i remember correctly, someone said, “We’re celebrating anything, as long as we get to grill!” And honestly, what’s wrong with going along with it? It’s not like we often have small gatherings like this anyway.

The celebration started with setting up a bonfire to roast some marshmallows, followed by grilling fish we had caught ourselves. While some people were busy grilling, the youngest member of the Schmidt family suddenly brought out a speaker from inside the house and turned it on the moment they got outside. As soon as the music started playing, a few others immediately gathered around and began dancing enthusiastically.

After the grilling and dancing session, they continued the night by watching something— the girls gathered in one room, while the boys stayed in the tv room. The night eventually came to an end with random late-night conversations while playing Uno. Oh, and of course, let’s not forget the “late-night snack session” that somehow always happens whenever everyone gets together.

Earlier today, around lunchtime, Yunho Schmidt, Wooyoung Thimblëa, and Mingi Schröder went out to eat together. Or actually, it felt more like a “drain Yunho Schmidt’s wallet” plan than just a normal lunch.

At first, Wooyoung Thimblëa only ordered ice cream. But when he saw Mingi Schröder order something more filling, his stomach started to growl too. In the end, they enjoyed their meal while chatting lightly about what happened that day—without realizing that Yunho Schmidt was quietly hoping they wouldn’t have to wash dishes there (because he was worried he didn’t bring enough money).
