​I know it’s a bit late to post; but I, Kahiangan Caintje, wanted to share a short story from our first week of break! ​It started with a simple carpool and a long-night-drive with Mesanov Runeshard and Nino Leutwin, to clear our heads and enjoy the city lights. We eventually stopped to take some photos, but things got funny when we met up with Carl Montgolfier. The rest of us stuck to dark dress code, but Carl showed up in bright white and completely RUINED the look. Since he stood out so much in all our photos, we made him pay for everyone’s dinner. Thanks for the free meal, Carl. (Next time, please check our group chat before getting dressed).

One fun day with Cherrilane's Ibun! 🤍

It was a total coincidence, me, Runeshard's Mama, and Cherrilane's Ibun ended up booking the exact same hotel for our family vacations. After spending the morning with our families, we met up to spend the rest of the day, losing track of time while playing cards, catching up, and snapping photos to document the occasion.

We couldn't stop laughing about how we ran into each other. Cherrilane's Ibun shook her head, still looking a bit stunned. "Aku kaget banget sih pas lihat Mbak sama bontot-bontotnya Mbak keluar lift" she said, recounting the moment she saw me stepping out into the lobby. I chimed in with a laugh, "So do I! Sekaget itu pas nengok kiri kamu manggil sambil gandeng anak kamu." It was one of those cinematic moments where you have to do a double-take just to make sure your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. And it’s amazing how a completely unplanned meeting could turn out to be so much fun!

Well today Runeshard's Stella and Schäfer's Almond stopped by the mall. At first Stella was only planning to accompany Almond to look for some clothes and shoes. But while they were casually walking around, Stella suddenly got distracted by a Pokémon merch stand.

"Aaaaa Almond liat deh, lucu banget. Aku mau."
"Enggak ya, Stel. Kita kesini bukan buat beli gituan."
"Ah, kenapasii. Yaudahlah, tapi fotoin dulu aku sama bonekanya"

Even though he looked a little reluctant, Almond still took the photo. After that, they kept wandering around the mall to find the clothes and shoes Almond wanted. Stella even snapped a photo of Almond when they accidentally ended up inside a kids' clothing store.

After finally getting what he needed, they decided to head home. Not because they were tired, but because they realized their allowance from koko and cece was already gone. If there had been money left, they probably would've kept circling the mall until they were exhausted.

Suit up, it’s a French kind of night. Just me, the cobblestones, and a city that never stops dreaming. 🗼🌃
