Tonight felt like a whole adventure. Meirhart’s Minji was striking poses under every single streetlight, while Wyrmharrow’s Wonyoung and Zhou’s Gawon were locked in a heated debate about which midnight snack rules the world. Rosenvelt’s Anton and Cherrilane’s Gunwook decided the empty street was their concert stage, while Norbury’s Eunseok and Delaire’s Dohoon tried to act chill but couldn’t stop laughing. Norbury’s Junghwan kicked an empty bottle like it was a soccer match, and Leclair’s Eunjung was laughing so hard she nearly fell over. Scalden’s Shinyu and Nethers’s Riki invented the dumbest “walk the slowest” challenge, which drove Sjords’s Emma absolutely insane. Zachruelle’s Juhoon, Runeshard’s Sunghoon, Stahlbaum's Yushi were deep in gamer talk, Siegern’s Wonyoung turned paparazzi on us, Velthrone’s Ian and Dewmourne’s Sarang dropped one sarcastic line that had everyone wheezing. Of course, Lamercy’s Eunchae and Gritner’s Yeonjun screamed about hunting down noodles like it was a quest from the gods.

[] Konstitusi kita, dalam Pasal 28A UUD 1945, secara tegas menjamin hak setiap warga negara untuk hidup dan mempertahankan kehidupannya. Jaminan ini diperkuat oleh Pasal 28I ayat (4), yang membebankan tanggung jawab penuh atas perlindungan HAM kepada negara. Namun, ironisnya, kita menyaksikan nyawa rakyat yang justru direnggut oleh tangan aparat penegak hukum yang seharusnya menjadi garda terdepan dalam menjaga hak tersebut. Insiden ini bukan sekadar kelalaian, melainkan pelanggaran serius terhadap fondasi konstitusi yang kita junjung. Permintaan maaf, sehalus apa pun diucapkan, tidak akan pernah bisa mengobati duka mendalam keluarga korban, karena nyawa tidak dapat dibayar dengan kata-kata.

Normalisasi kekerasan oleh aparat adalah ancaman nyata bagi kedaulatan hukum. Tidak ada ruang untuk impunitas dalam negara yang berlandaskan hukum. Pasal 359 KUHP sudah jelas, bahwa setiap kelalaian yang menyebabkan kematian harus dipertanggungjawabkan di hadapan hukum, tanpa memandang seragam atau jabatan. Keadilan sejati menuntut hukuman yang setimpal, bukan sekadar basa-basi. Jika preseden buruk ini terus dibiarkan, maka pertanyaan krusial pun muncul: APAKAH HUKUM DI NEGERI INI MASIH BERPIHAK PADA RAKYAT, ATAU HANYA MENJADI ALAT KEKUASAAN?

Sudah saatnya kita membuka mata dan menyadari bahwa tragedi ini bukan urusan orang lain. Kisah pilu ini, dengan segala kebrutalan oknum yang merenggut nyawa, harus diketahui oleh setiap insan yang masih punya nurani. Untuk mereka yang masih menutup telinga, mungkin pantas untuk merenung. Jika kita memilih diam dan membiarkan ketidakadilan ini berlarut-larut, jangan terkejut jika suatu saat nanti, kita lah yang menjadi korban berikutnya dari kebiadaban yang kita biarkan tumbuh subur. Suarakan, meskipun hanya sebatas bisikan, karena di antara keheningan yang memekakkan telinga, suara kita adalah satu-satunya perlawanan.
