The cold midnight breeze in Paris was pretty strong, but the only thing on Pendleton Shinyu's mind was how the warm city lights caught Cherrilane Karina's eyes. They had been walking around when Pendleton's Shinyu spotted a late-night street florist, prompting him to make a quick detour. A few minutes later, he casually dropped a bouquet of deep red roses onto their table, right against the backdrop of the glowing Eiffel Tower.

"Bukannya di luar udah ada pemandangan secantik menara Eiffel, ya? Ngapain masih repot-repot beli bunga segala?" Cherrilane's Karina asked, playfully teasing him as she traced the edge of her wine glass.

Pendleton's Shinyu leaned back into his chair, unable to hide the faint smile on his face under the dim lighting of the restaurant. "Biar saingan aja cantiknya. And spoiler alert, the flowers lost."

He watched her laugh softly, clearly trying her hardest to fight back a smile. Later, as they walked down the quiet streets, Cherrilane's Karina suddenly pulled out her phone, aiming the camera at him under the streetlights. Pendleton's Shinyu deliberately moved just as she took the shot. Click. The result was completely out of focus.

"Ih, stop moving, fotonya jadi ngeblur tahu," she complained, turning the screen to show him the ruined picture.

Pendleton's Shinyu just laughed, giving her a teasing look as he stepped a little closer. "Salah siapa motretnya sambil senyum-senyum salting gitu? Makanya, fokus aja ke orangnya, nggak usah repot-repot fokus ke layarnya."
