The sun wasn't too high yet when Nicheford's Dohoon and Hutchinson's Youngjae arrived at the beach. The white sand still felt cool under their feet. Without saying much, Hutchinson’s Youngjae pulled out his pocket camera from his bag and began taking pictures.

After they'd taken enough photos, they decided to rent a small motorboat. Nicheford’s Dohoon couldn't sit still. He kept shifting, standing up, sitting down, and standing up again. Hutchinson’s Youngjae was losing his mind, “EH DIEM DULU, nanti perahunya oleng!" he shouted.

Finally, back on land, they built a sandcastle. Big plans, terrible execution. A wave came and destroyed it. Nicheford’s Dohoon said. “Nggak apa-apa, desain minimalis." The ‘minimalist’ in question was just a lump of sand stuck between their feet.

Then sunset came. They ordered a large pizza from a tiny stall. They sat on the sand, greasy hands and all, watching the sky turn orange. It was actually super pretty. Another day well spent, indeed.
