Tonight, I, Morsevic’s Riki and Lamercy’s Sunghoon finally brought a plan we’d been talking about for weeks to life. We went grocery shopping together, something we genuinely enjoys. We took our time in the aisles, choosing fresh fruit, vegetables, and everything we needed for dinner. Since pasta was on the menu, we made sure to pick up spaghetti and sauce for the main event. Back at home, the kitchen was filled with quiet laughter and the soft clatter of pots and pans. Sunghoon often paused to take pictures, capturing small moments between tasks. We ate our pasta with joy and easy laughter, the kind that somehow made the food taste even better. Afterward, we settled onto the couch for a movie, “If I fell asleep, will you take me to bed?” Sunghoon asked, eyes half fluttering from being too sleepy, “I’ll take you anywhere I go.” And with a yawn, cradled in the warmth of my arms, we let the rest of the night unfold naturally.
