The grand wedding reception was stunning, but since they didn’t actually know the bride or groom, the real main event for the Hutchinson brothers was the massive, free prasmanan spread. Stepping up to the buffet, Hutchinson’s Ohyul was already scouting the layout in his camo cap and plaid flannel. He nudged his brother with an elbow. “Anjir, liat deh makanannya. Prasmanannya gila-gilaan, menunya banyak banget,” he whispered, grabbing a plate.

Hutchinson’s Ryul laughed, fixing his leather jacket while eyeing the spread. “Gokil, ini baru beneran makan porsi kuli. Gila, lu ngambil dagingnya banyak banget!” He watched, amused, as the plate was stacked high with rice and side dishes.

Right next to them, Hutchinson’s Anxin was completely locked in, testing a spoonful of bright orange sambal. “Lu cobain sambalnya, dah. Gila, pedesnya mantep banget tapi enak, serius deh,” he muttered, totally focused.

Once they sat down, Hutchinson’s Ohyul instantly picked up a dumpling with his chopsticks. “Gimana? Lu ngambil makanan apa aja, Ryul? Gua ambil rendang, ayam rica-rica, tumis buncis, krupuk udang... Gila, kenyang banget kayaknya abis ini.”

Chewing on his food, Hutchinson’s Ryul nodded in agreement. “Sama, gua juga ambil itu semua. Gila, masakannya enak banget, ya. Worth it banget sih kita dateng ke sini.” The rest of the night was pure chaos. Filled with non-stop laughter, inside jokes, and judging each other’s massive food portions. A solid night fueled by good food and full bellies.
