It was time for a school trip! That day, the main destination that Eirlys couldn’t wait any longer to visit was the museum. It was not the artsy museum that showcases paintings and sculptures, but instead, they offer their very own duplicates of flora and fauna from all over the world—which Eirlys was so excited about!
And since growing a tree had been the hot topic in her house, she was willing to find the closest duplicate of the same plant that she can find in the museum. Her heart longed to see how the tree would possibly turn out in the end.
But it’s Eirlys, anyway. She didn’t go straight into the flora area and got distracted by a huge dinosaur skeleton. I must take a picture of this, she mumbled. One minute later, all of her family members had seen the same skeleton. It was when her teacher lost her, and her name was mentioned through the loudspeaker: EIRLYS AIFE HEARST.
“Carthen, your older brothers and sisters are on their final week, would you help me take care of the younger ones?”
During the busy days, Carthen was the one Momma trusted the most to look after the house, including his younger siblings. Momma would leave some money for them to go out and have fun, with one condition: everyone must come back home safely.
You get the idea of what happens on those times. Carthen would be overly protective towards the little ones, that not even a single thing could touch and hurt them. Because of this, one of his younger brothers made him his own badge for being their bodyguard, with his name written on it: CARTHEN SAGEAPH HEARST.
The Hearsts wouldn’t say Corgi is lazy. No, she’s definitely not—we just say that she has a ‘pretty limited’ energy. To us, she’s that one sibling who loves herself the most, but is still proud to become a part of the family.
She didn’t care that much about the whole thing happening in the backyard: growing a tree, taking care of the seed, et cetera. But, as soon as she heard about building a treehouse, that was when she started to daydream.
“Oh, wouldn’t it be fun to live on that treehouse?”
“Imagine a fine afternoon spent on top of that tree, with the soothing wind and the sound of chirping birds.”
“Books! Yes, books. The treehouse is perfect for me to live in my fictional worlds.”
The rest of her longings was kept in her customized pink diary. It’s got a key to open the book, which has a butterfly-shaped keychain with her name—also written in pink: CORGI PUPINIA HEARST.

Meet, Aether. The number one reason why chaos happens in the house of Hearst. Mostly not a serious one, but still, he has the ability of getting his own siblings on their nerves.
Just as the whole family were informed that Momma was going to grow a tree in their backyard, everyone was busy talking about it; it seemed that they were too excited and that no other topic thrilled them as it did.
And so, Aether asked, “What happened?”
One of his siblings explained that they were going to have a tree, a big one. But then, Aether asked again, “Tree?”
“Yep, possibly a huge one.”
“You mean the whole trunk, the branches, and the leaves—all of it will be there, in our backyard?”
“Yes, Aether. One more question and I’ll kick you out of this house.”
That’s when the sibling battle begins. Don’t worry, it’s not any further than attacking one another with plushies. You can see that Aether is actually a big baby by seeing the name tag that was hung to one of it: AETHER DAECALUS HEARST.
Luna, also known as Luney at home, has a pretty packed schedule for a high-schooler like her. She is a part of the publisher team in her school, which made her deal with tabloids and pamphlets often.
Because of that, she got what they call a “publisher privilege” which is the opportunity to write something about her life and publish it on the tabloid. Hence, Luney chose to talk about her family’s teamwork, and their goal to build a treehouse.
The article ended up getting popular just within days. Of course, it’s Luney’s writings. Everyone started to ask her, “How does it feel to be a Hearst?” and she would answer, “It feels more than anything you could ever ask.”
It became bigger than that. The publisher team decided to visit the house of Hearst since then, with her as the reporter herself: LUNA EVENTIDE HEARST.

“We’re building a what, now? A treehouse? Brilliant. I could ask my boyfriend to come over every–“
“Nope, Darren,” Momma interrupts. “The answer’s no.”
Typically, Darren would put on some pouty face as soon as he hears that, but well, Momma’s answer actually makes sense. He’s got his little siblings at home, there’s no way he would become all lovey-dovey in front of them.
“Mom, I’ll be home at 9. Please don’t look for me! I’ll be a good boy!”
He was indeed barely at home, but everyone in the family knows that he’s such a good son. During the building process, since the girls weren’t strong enough to pick up the wood piles, he was willing to do all the job that sometimes he said, “Leave it all to me!”
And, knowing that he played a big role in building the treehouse, he engraved his name on one side of the wood to give himself some credit: DARREN BRISTLE HEARST.

Building a treehouse certainly needs prior discussion that requires every member of the family to participate—in order to achieve the perfect result in the end. Thus, the Hearsts were holding “family meeting night” to discuss what are things they want to put in the treehouse later.
As you might have guessed, the little ones were loudly suggesting to put their toy chest inside it, but the elder ones disagreed because to them, the huge amount of toys will just make a mess.
Glad we had Nilenia that night. She was the one to break the silence, “How about, each of us little ones—including me,” she pointed to her siblings, then to herself. “Bring one toy that is our most favorite, instead of taking them all?”
That’s just Nilenia in a nutshell. She always has solutions to problems, and endless creativity basically lives in her head. That’s also why you would hear her name being summoned often in the house of Hearst: NILENIA BELLAMY HEARST.
