Happy anniversary to our treehouse! 🥳🍃

It’s been exactly a year since we first built our treehouse. The journey wasn’t a cakewalk at all; there were indeed many times that we spent joyfully altogether, but there were also moments when we had to bear with obstacles and hurdles that shook the walls of our treehouse. Thanks to our solidarity, togetherness, and support towards each other, all ups and down had passed, leaving a trace of meaningful memory and a life lesson that we’d always remember: whatever happens, as long as you have your family, you’re going to be okay.

The treehouse of Hearst embodies the heavy dew of warmth from each bodies.

It was the twenty-eighth of February; as a strange inclination clasped onto one’s mind to grant humankind one or two touches of stirred-sensations, in a way to be quoted as love. Each feet stamped the first rung, and the other welcomed within dimmed eyes.

Quoting from what Peter Buffett wrote, “It did not matter how big our house was; it mattered that there was love in it.” A love has well-curved in the treehouse, even swelled up. It has never been an easy for places to stay still, humans to be seized still—yet, at the very least moment it would not cause any of tragic tragedy.

Chapter 4: Get Familiar with the Family!

For brambles and greenery to effloresce perfectly, a devoted endeavor must be put into place. Plenty of time and energy are sacrificed, especially when it comes to growing a huge tree. Not merely it needs complete dedication, but also consistency, hard work, and most importantly—endless love. The Hearsts has a testimony: they began to grow their own tree, precisely in the back of their house on February 28th, 2023. The journey was indeed not a cinch. They had to face lots of quandaries during the experience, be it dealing with the stormy weather, turbulent wind, or the unexpected appearance of animals that they found hanging on the branch out of the blue one day.

“But a year has passed,” Jesse continued the story. “And, as you can see now, our tree has been growing so well—it has a strong trunk and branches that it can hold an actual treehouse on top of it. It can fit up to five people! Not to mention the swing underneath it, which my younger siblings really love to play with. Crazy, isn’t it? Now let’s climb up. You’ll love the inside of our treehouse.”
   

   
“Jesse Brother?”

“Eyis, Abbie,” how it became no surprise to see both of his sisters up there, each holding a doll. “Don’t mind us. We’re just going to do some quick tour here.”

They nodded. As the girls continued playing, you followed Jesse going over each section of the treehouse. There was nothing much on the left side of it—since it was just a little desk hanging to the wooden wall, but according to Jesse, it’s precisely where the eldest ones love to hang out. They sometimes work on a task, or simply grab a cup of coffee to unwind. The middle part of the treehouse is where you would stumble upon the little ones; it’s a huge shelf filled with dolls and a great selection of books.

“Hearsts are just in love with the idea of reading books on sunny afternoons, especially when we have so many things to read,” Jesse reached up and took one thick, blue-covered book from the upper side of the shelf. “But since you’re here to get to know the family, this one might pique your interest. Shall we go take a look?”
