Late in the evening, Mirthwood’s Jeemin and Delaire’s Carmen slipped away for a small convenience store run, saying they only needed “a few snacks” — though everyone already knew they would come back with far more than planned.

Under the bright store lights, the two wandered through every aisle slowly, picking random drinks, instant noodles, chips, and sweets just because they “looked good enough to try.” The shopping basket grew fuller with every step, along with their quiet laughter and endless indecisiveness.

“Ini lucu banget, ambil gak?” Delaire’s Carmen asked while holding another snack. “Dari tadi kamu bilang lucu terus,” Mirthwood’s Jeemin replied with a laugh. “Ya habis packaging-nya gemes.”

After paying, they stopped by a small street snack stand nearby, sharing fruit tanghulu under the cold evening air while watching people pass by. By the time they finally returned to the villa, plastic bags filled their hands, snacks almost overflowing from the basket they carried together.

It wasn’t an important trip, nor something carefully planned. Just a late-night convenience store visit, small arguments over snacks, and sweet little moments shared between two people who somehow made ordinary things feel much warmer than they should’ve been. 🛒🍓
