Important changes from 1st April 2025 -

Sure, here are the improved versions of the statements:

1. Under the new tax regime, income up to ₹12.75 lakh will be tax-free starting April 1, 2025.
2. The TDS exemption limit on interest income for senior citizens will be raised to ₹1 lakh.
3. UPI IDs linked to inactive mobile numbers will be deactivated.
4. The Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for central government employees will commence on April 1, 2025.
5. PAN and Aadhaar must be linked by March 31, 2025, to avoid loss of dividend income and higher TDS.
6. The GST portal will require multi-factor authentication, and e-way bills will be restricted to documents not older than 180 days.
7. KYC verification will become mandatory for all mutual funds and demat accounts.
