Vermillion’s Juhoon and Scarvaine’s Juhoon are just out here, wandering through the city like we’ve got all the time in the world. No rush, no plans that actually matter; just lights, cold air, and the quiet excitement of a new year waiting to happen. Vermillion’s Juhoon been busy holding his phone, catching every little moment of Scarvaine’s Juhoon—like he’s scared this version of him might disappear if he doesn’t. Meanwhile, Scarvaine’s Juhoon keeps laughing at the smallest things, pulling his jacket closer, pretending he’s not cold even though we both know he is.

We walked by the river, the city glowing softly around us, reflections dancing on the water. At some point, we held sparklers, hands close, light flickering, making everything feel warmer than it actually was. We shared instant noodles under the night sky, city skyline blurred in the distance, joking about how this somehow tastes better outdoors at night. There were moments where we didn’t even talk—just stood there, listening to the city breathe.

It’s not loud fireworks or countdown chaos. It’s softer than that. It’s laughter echoing quietly, hands brushing, blurry photos, most of them Scarvaine’s Juhoon, if you check Vermillion’s Juhoon camera roll—and that feeling of this matters. Honestly? Neither of us wants to go home yet. It feels like one of those nights we’ll think about years from now and smile—because for a moment, the world felt simple, and the new year didn’t seem scary at all.
