In the last few days our family has noticed something that has made multiple members feel very uncomfortable, and we feel the need to address it clearly.

Today, we have seen lots of “spill” channels with chats that have been edited in obvious ways. These chats make it seem like they’re from members of the Sethlore family when they’re not. Sometimes there are even accounts pretending to be our members making inappropriate posts.

And with this clarification, we wanted to strongly state that none of the inappropriate conversations that are going around represent our members in any way. Our members have not wrote, said, or been quoted in any of those conversations and we feel capable of proving it if necessary. Everything being posted in those channels are accounts being twisted and misrepresented by irresponsible parties.

Besides that, multiple members of our family also have been getting Anonymous Messages. These messages range from inappropriate stickers, very disgusting conversations, and hateful comments. What worries us is that this isn’t happening to one or two people. We have multiple members experiencing this at the same time. We understand that in times like these rumors or misconceptions can happen. And we kindly ask for everyone who receives a message or sees a post from someone claiming to be from Sethlore member to not immediately believe it, spread it, or form a conclusions without proper clarification. Lastly we want to say that if you have any criticism, advice, or you have something to say about one of our members please do. Do so directly. Hiding behind anonymity or using harmful methods like this only creates unnecessary harm and does not lead to any constructive outcome.

Dalam beberapa hari terakhir ini, keluarga kami mendapatkankan situasi yang membuat beberapa anggota keluarga kami merasa tidak nyaman, dan kami merasa perlu untuk menyampaikannya dengan jelas.

Hari ini, kami menemukan adanya banyak channel “spill” yang menyebarkan percakapan yang telah diedit dan dimanipulasi secara jelas. Percakapan tersebut dibuat seolah-olah berasal dari anggota keluarga Sethlore, padahal kenyataannya tidak. Bahkan, terdapat akun yang berpura-pura menjadi anggota kami dan membuat postingan yang tidak pantas.

Melalui klarifikasi ini, kami ingin menegaskan dengan tegas bahwa seluruh percakapan tidak pantas yang beredar tersebut sama sekali tidak merepresentasikan anggota keluarga kami. Anggota keluarga kami tidak pernah menulis, mengatakan, ataupun terlibat dalam percakapan tidak senonoh tersebut dan kami merasa mampu membuktikannya jika memang diperlukan. Semua yang beredar merupakan bentuk manipulasi dan penyalahgunaan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab.

Selain itu, beberapa anggota keluarga kami menerima anonymous messages yang berisi hal-hal tidak pantas. Mulai dari sticker yang tidak senonoh, percakapan yang sangat tidak layak, hingga komentar bernada kebencian. Yang menjadi perhatian kami adalah hal ini tidak hanya terjadi pada satu atau dua orang saja, tetapi dialami oleh beberapa anggota sekaligus. Kami sangat paham bahwa dalam situasi seperti ini, bisa saja muncul berbagai asumsi atau kesalahpahaman. Oleh karena itu, kami mengajak siapa pun yang menerima pesan atau melihat postingan dari pihak yang mengatasnamakan anggota Sethlore, untuk tidak langsung mempercayai, menyebarkan, ataupun mengambil kesimpulan tanpa adanya klarifikasi yang jelas. Sebagai penutup, kami juga ingin menyampaikan bahwa jika ada kritik, saran, atau hal lain yang ingin disampaikan kepada anggota kami, kami sangat terbuka untuk itu. Namun, akan jauh lebih baik jika disampaikan secara langsung dan dengan cara yang baik. Bersembunyi di balik anonimitas atau menggunakan cara-cara yang merugikan seperti ini hanya akan menimbulkan dampak negatif dan tidak menghasilkan hal yang konstruktif.
