We loved to make the pages of a love letter when we were children, each page unfolding with particular intention. Furthermore, we kept each other’s words forever in our hearts’ reflection. It feels nostalgic. Today, we create a session that somehow feels a bit cliché, like a routine for this day of love. We are making love letters for each other, though we truly don’t know who is behind each letter, just guessing with no clues for us to remember later.

We all feel grateful for a love that overflows when we share laughter that feels so light on this day. We also share chocolate, savoring the sweetness as we chew, making each bite linger so delightfully in our mouths. One thing is for sure, we don’t need anything fancy to remember this day. What matters is that we come together in the cozy corner to write letters to each other. Throughout the activity, we share plenty of jokes as we write our parts. In that moment, a single moment feels like forever. These are our days to keep forever in our hearts.

After all the time, when we finally discover who is behind each letter, we laugh even harder, but we know in the deepest part of our hearts that the love is overflowing. Furthermore, we capture every moment with the camera. No matter how much time we spend apart, there is always a blessing in spending a day together moment. On this Valentine’s Day, we create a moment to be cherished in the future for our future selves.

I’m dropping a quick 6 pics recap of how my family surprised me yesterday. I honestly didn’t expect a thing since everyone’s been busy, when I caught Isaiah sneaking out and whispering to Ivy (which usually means they’re plotting to steal my snacks). I should’ve known what was coming when I saw my face decorations all over the living room, and everything was perfect… until Isaiah brought out a suspicious green buttercream cake and “redesigned” it to match me, if you saw the last two pics, you already know how that turned out. Still, I’m super grateful to celebrate turning 17 with my family. Being born on the same day as the day of love is kind of special, and I’m ready to fill this new chapter with sweet memories and a little more chaos. Happy birthday to me, and Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Nionts!
