The morning started with a biting chill and everywhere swallowed by a heavy post-rain mist. It felt almost cinematic. But as the sun climbed, the air turned crisped, so I rallied my brothers, Ko Ail and Stev, to hit the streets. We kicked things off with some street eats, Ko Ail’s call, as he was craving for a light breakfast. From there, we trailed the youngest into a drone shop. He was clearly in his element, buzzing with excitement. By midday, we retreated to a good coffee shop with the space filled with jazz and the aroma of roasted beans. We stayed there for a while, just decompressing. They were busy geeking out over their finds while I leaned back enjoying my coffee and the chaos of their conversation. Before heading home, I swung by a clothier to secure a clean semi-casual fit for an upcoming trip. We’ve been navigating the city since 7 AM, covering a lot of ground. It was a solid run. I will definitely bring the rest of Samniont along next time.

Happy Thursday, Nionts. I spent a wonderful evening last night with my siblings, Rome and Sania. What started as a quick trip for Sania to pick up a few things at Miniso turned into a full-blown shopping haul for all of us. We capped the night off with dinner, and since they were being so sweet—and because it was actually our first time hanging out just the three of us—I decided to treat them. I hope you all have a chance to make some happy memories just like we did, Nionts.

Dearest Nionts, one might assume that nothing of note could possibly occur in so ordinary a gathering, yet how very wrong one would be. Oh, sorry for the sudden use of such fancy words earlier. But quick little update, baby Dalila bought me a camera yesterday as a gift for being a good sister to her (yes, I'm still screaming). My heart is full, my baby is really a big girl now. And ohhh, we had so much fun with it today. We took pictures while Dalila and I did each other's makeup, snacked a little in between, and just enjoyed the moment. Today's evening was supposed to be a quiet one, but Ail single-handedly broke it by walking around with a new haircut as if he was expecting comments and attention. It's shorter, cleaner, and now he refuses to stop mentioning it like it's an important headline of the day. I was busy composing a song, executing piles of ideas that had been dangling in my head for some time, while looping the same melody for hundredth time to prevent those ideas from slipping off until Ail keeps butting in with opinions just to convince me his photos with the new hair are worth taking. Dare I say I had no reason to say no as his fresh haircut looks undeniably good, and the random photos he took of me turned out stunning, and I felt compelled to return the favor to match his generosity. To sum it up for you, Nionts, this evening is about no plans, no responsibilities, just me, a half-made track, and my brother being unnecessarily distracting.

Good evening, Nionts! Recently, I’ve been busy pacing between practicing and studying as midterms approach, so I can’t do much other than lock in for good. Life is not always daijoubu, you know? This is a short and simple example of that. But luckily, Ce Sarah, accompanied by Ce Galilea, still drives me home no matter how late my practice ends. They even remembered to bring me sweets as a reward for my hard work. And last but not least, I get to come home to Cookie and cuddle with him all night long. Life is suddenly daijoubu again. :D
