This house took more than just good intentions. It demanded grace when we were difficult to love when the world outside felt entirely too cold. We have watched each other fracture and heal, standing shoulder to shoulder through bitter storms and sleepless, heavy-eyed nights. When the moments of genuine ache, times when the physical distance between us felt impossible, the longing to just reach out and hold one another seemed too heavy to bear. Grew up alongside one another, we dug our heels into the dirt. We chose, over and over again, to gather the frayed edges of each other's lives until they formed a home.
And, in every season,
It was love.
