Then my friend finally showed up—the one I’d been waiting for this whole time. We headed out together to this pretty fancy place with a BBQ grill loaded with meat. The smell alone was enough to make me starving.
Spices everywhere too, ready for me to mix however I want. Honestly…I should’ve brought you here with me.
