They began with a game—spinning to decide who would speak first, share their thoughts, and tell the truth, even though lies inevitably crept into their souls now and then. Once they had poured out their hearts, the streets became theirs to command. They claimed every corner, setting their sights on someone to prank and challenge. A few shots fired wouldn't hurt, and magic was fair game this time around.
