The festival was loud enough to hide just about anything, which made it the perfect excuse. While everyone else wandered from one booth to another, stopping for food, games, and whatever caught their attention, Caltbern's Stella quietly slipped away with the excuse of "grabbing a drink," knowing exactly where she'd find Merfyn's Juun waiting just beyond the crowd. "I only have ten minutes." A quiet smile was all it took, "Then I'll make all ten count." Somehow ten turned into twenty, twenty into almost an hour, and by the time they wandered back to the crowd, neither of their friends seemed to notice they'd been missing. Maybe the festival had been fun, but the best part of the day had happened where no one else was looking.
