We were analysing the situation that you have shared with us today, and I wanted to give more details. The refund of the recent NBA accumulator bets was due to the fact that NBA association has recently made changes to their rules regarding fouls, specifically, the High Five Foul rule.

The new rules state the following:
1) As of this season, if a defender makes follow-through contact with a shooter's hand, wrist or arm after the ball has been released, it will be called as a foul.
2) If a player is attempting to block a shot, they can still contest it vertically, but should they make a secondary movement, such as a swipe to the shooter's arm, this will be noted.
3) In the case that there is obvious, illegal contact that is unnecessary or excessive in the secondary motion after the ball is released on a shot attempt then it could be deemed a flagrant foul.

Since betting providers put out the bets without regard to the NBA's big changes to foul rules coming this season, the odds for all NBA bets on fouls were way off. As according to the new rules, it has become much easier to earn a foul during a game that it was before.
