Hello, Rosies. This midday found just the two of us, pretending for a moment that the world could wait. No children came along, and honestly, that was the best part (oops). The sun sat right above our heads, a little intense but still pleasant enough to enjoy. We sat side by side with simple hats on and bait that might work… or might not? We teased each other about who was more patient while waiting for the fish to bite. There were no calls of “Mom” or “Dad” from behind us. Just two parents sneaking away for a while from their daily roles. Laughing, caring, and enjoying each other’s company.
