This Friday, February 10th at 5 pm (Right after the panel) at the AnthroBama Meetup is your chance to join the AnthroBama community and trade stickers and plushies. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your collections and perhaps even come home with something new!
Please bring stickers and/or plushies that you would like to trade with others or pass out to your fellow members. The exchange is not limited to stickers and plushies only, so if you have any other merchandise that you have collected over the years, it would be fun to trade it. Just make sure everything is SFW (safe for work) and appropriate in accordance with the rules of the group.

Rescheduled - Botanical Gardens Meet

Unfortunately, our original plans to suit and meet at the Cherry Blossom Festival had to be rescheduled due to the Botanical Gardens frowning on any sort of costuming during events. However! We are more than welcome to suit during normal park hours. So, in that case, let's have our own meetup and suit! Same place, but now on April 8th!
Note: We are NOT allowed to use the restrooms of the Botanical Gardens to change into costume. We recommend planning accordingly. Furthermore, though it hasn't been an issue in the past, please do not bring any props that resemble weapons or firearms.

PRIDE Arcade Meetup - Alabaster July 1st, 2023

I know it has been some time since the last meetup was announced. The reason that we haven't made an announcement is because we've hit a virtual brick-wall in finding a venue to host us. We have been trying to find a more permanent venue to host our meetups. For a while, E-Plex was a semi-permanent place. However, they are now closed. We've tried booking a room and lanes at virtually every bowling alley in the Birmingham area. Some venues are not allowing suiting, some are still "under construction" (since 2020, at that), and some are simply not accepting us because of negative experiences with other furry groups. So, for this month's meetup, we've got two viable options. We can either book another meetup at Hooligans Family Fun, but the option to suit (aside from just tails and paws) is unavailable. The other option is booking a meet at Big TIme in Oxford if we can reserve a room. Big Time is further away, but they've been the nicest to us and give us a reasonable rate. I know neither option is exactly the most convenient, but this is what we have. Thus, we're opening this up to a vote on both the AnthroBama chat and Facebook group.

Join us this upcoming Saturday for a day of suiting, bowling, pizza and plenty of arcade games, putt-putt golf and more. We will have a private room to change in and out of suit, as well as to just chill out in. Our accommodations include 2 hour rental for the room, two pizzas, (non-alcoholic) drinks and 2 hour two-lane rentals. That being said, we're asking for a donation of $15-$20 to cover the charge for all of this. It would help tremendously with the expenses and overhead.
