After a long day, Bërg's Hyunjin kidnapped Liesbon's Karina for a café date because he said I deserved a little break. I wasn't planning on going anywhere today, but somehow I can never say no when he asks.. We ordered coffee, shared desserts, argued over which one tasted better, and laughed because he kept feeding me even though I told him I could eat by myself. He said watching me enjoy good food was somehow his favorite thing. At one point he looked at me out of nowhere and went, "Have I told you how pretty you are today?" I laughed and told him he says that every day. Then he smiled and replied, "Because it's true every day." Okay, maybe that's why I still blush every single time. We stayed until our drinks melted, took random pictures, played with the café's fluffy cat, and talked until neither of us noticed how late it had gotten. I guess this is what people mean when they say home isn't always a place, sometimes it's just a person sitting across the table from you.

Since tomorrow's the weekend, Bosche's Riki and Liesbon's Sooin decided to make the most of the evening with a little grocery run. It was supposed to be a quick stop to grab a few essentials, but before I knew it, our cart was already full. I spent most of the trip pushing the cart while Sooin took her time looking through the frozen food section and picking out snacks she wanted. We ended up walking through almost every aisle, stopping whenever something caught our attention. By the time we got to the checkout, I was carrying way more shopping bags than I expected. It wasn't anything extraordinary, just one of those simple evenings I'd gladly spend again.
