Happy Children’s Day to our beloved kiddos. Most of the times Papi and Mami look at each of you and find ourselves wondering how the little children we once held in our warm arms have grown so beautifully before our eyes. You are becoming prettier, more adorable, and more amazing with every passing day, yet somehow, our heart still sees the little ones you used to be. We still catch ourselves looking at you with the same tenderness, the same protectiveness, and the same overwhelming love we have felt since the very first day you came into our life.

Being your parents has given us lessons to be learnt and a kind of love that we never knew it existed. A love that grows deeper with every smile, every milestone, and every moment we get to watch you become who you are meant to be. No matter how much you grow, no matter how old you become, a part of us will always see you as our little children. Perhaps that is the reason why we will always look at you a little longer, hold you a little closer in our heart, and quietly wish that time would slow down, just for a little while so we can see each of you perfectly blooming like flowers in springtime.

Our dear children, always remember that life has its own ways of unfolding and there will be days when things do not go as you planned, you may feel tired, disappointed, or uncertain about which way to go next. When those days come, we hope you remember to keep moving forward with courage, to remain kind even when the world is not always kind to you, and to never lose faith in yourselves.

We may not always have the answers or be able to walk every step beside you, but we will always be your parents. The ones who believes in you, worries about you, and loves you deeper than you may ever fully understand. No matter how much you grow, you will always have a special place in our heart, and we will always be here, quietly cheering for you through every season of life.
