Somewhere along the way, our relationship stopped feeling like love and started feeling like exhaustion. We kept hurting each other in ways we never talked about properly, then pretending everything was okay until the same fights happened again. I was constantly confused about us — about what we were, what you wanted, and whether you even saw a future with me the same way I saw one with you. One day you’d make me feel loved, and the next day I’d feel like I was asking for too much just to be reassured. It became a cycle of holding on and breaking apart over and over again, and honestly, I got tired. Tired of overthinking, tired of feeling unwanted, tired of loving someone who made me question my worth more than they made me feel secure. I stayed because I believed maybe we could still fix it, but deep down I knew we were slowly destroying each other. And no matter how much I loved you, I couldn’t keep losing myself in a relationship that only brought pain and uncertainty.
