While some head out to chase sunsets, here we are, having spent our afternoon soaking in the warmth and enjoying the lush greenery together. At first, Sörguine’s Chaoyue said this was just an ordinary afternoon walk, but it turned out to be anything but ordinary. First, we wandered into a small wooded area near our home, but don’t worry! It’s completely safe and cozy, not at all like the forests you might imagine. The air was fresh, and the light felt soft and golden. Then, Sörguine’s Jingyi led us to a peaceful lake nearby, where we took in the calm water and gentle breeze. Our elders absolutely cherished this spontaneous trip, especially our dear aunt, Sörguine’s Dai Luwa. I think she knew right away this was no ordinary stroll, she even brought her favorite sunhat! Later, we strolled over to a neighborhood park. Sörguine’s Wonyoung and Sörguine’s Minje followed along quietly wherever we went, while the younger ones kept things lively. Sörguine’s Juhoon kept dashing off excitedly at every little discovery, Sörguine’s Juun face was all prengat-prengut from tiredness, and Sörguine’s Keonho sweetly (and persistently) asked for every snack in sight, all while sighing about how tired he was. He complained with every step until we finally sat down for a break. Once he had his treats in hand, he was all smiles and quiet munching. It was a simple, warm, and joyful afternoon, exactly the kind of memory we love to make. We’re already looking forward to our next little trip, and we hope all of our family members can join next time! ♥️

I, Sörguine’s Woonhak took my little sister, Mistlesoir’s Leeseo out today. “Just for a bit” I said. She smiled like she didn’t believe me. One arcade stop turned into flashing lights claw machines full of plushies, and old-school games i forgot i missed. She moved from machine to machine, excited over everything, while i stayed back, just watching her enjoy it. “Last one” she said quietly. I nodded. We stayed longer than planned, laughed more than expected, and somehow ended up heading home in a really good mood.
It was a good night.

Hello, Sorbees. This weekend, Sörguineʼs Gubba agenda was to make Dujjonku, also known as Dubai Chocolate Mochi, just like the kiddos requested. They said the mochi has been going viral lately, so instead of buying it, Gubba decided to try making it at home. I ended up making quite a lot because the kiddos really like Dubai Chocolate Mochi. Sörguineʼs Gubben was the very first person to taste Gubba’s Dujjonku, since he kept going back and forth to the kitchen, waiting patiently for it to be ready. He said it tasted really good, and that honestly made all the effort worth it. Now Gubba is already thinking, what other delicious treats should I try making next for my beloved kiddos?
