Tonight was supposed to be my guilty workout redemption. But guess what? My plan totally flopped. I barely managed three light laps before Meier’s Sani suddenly went, “Juy, convenience, promise real quick. I need to grab some mineral water.”

And then—oh, Sorbees, you won’t believe it—he walked out holding a two-flavor ice cream cone in his right hand and a bag full of snacks. His grin was so wide 'till his dimples were practically punching out of his cheeks.

Meanwhile, I was just standing there, scrolling through my messages, until I froze for a good few seconds. Then out slipped one word, “Damn you Sani.”

Still in disbelief at his behavior, my fingers automatically scrolled up, looking for the group chat: the one with Sorguine’s Juyeon, Meier’s Sani, and Hurlstone’s Sungho.

You might think I sound like some teenager in the middle of puberty—yeah, maybe. Because I literally ratted him out to Hurlstone’s Sungho, sending a picture of Meier’s Sani so seriously licking his ice cream like it was a holy ritual.

And that’s how my run got canceled. Instead, we ended up munching on the snacks Sani bought, cracking jokes. Sungho kept yapping about how he and his crew ate the stage alive at Lollapalooza a few weeks ago. Sani chimed in too, dropping hints about guesting on that hyped-up survival show.

And just like that—this is how our nights usually end.
