The truth is, we are both still so into each other. We still want this to work more than anything, but the universe really forced our hand. We were literally at the finish line since we already did the outfit fittings, picked out the rings, and even got engaged. We were so ready for the long run. But our parents just were not having it. They both hard-rejected the idea of us being together and stood their ground against the marriage. They basically refused to accept either of us into their families. So, instead of forcing something that would only end in a mess, we decided to call it quits on good terms. We are choosing to let go while there is still love there.

Honestly, the main issue was that she was just way too childish, and it eventually became such a massive turn off. Her maturity level was nowhere near where it needed to be, and her kid like mindset honestly started to get on my nerves every single day. It felt like I was dealing with someone who just refused to grow up, and that vibe was becoming really draining to be around. The biggest dealbreaker for me was how one sided everything felt. She always expected me to be the one to understand her and cater to her feelings, but she never even tried to give that same energy back to me. It was like a constant cycle of her wanting all the attention while completely ignoring my needs. I just could not handle that selfish attitude anymore, so I decided it was finally time to call it quits and move on for my own peace of mind.

I really didnt wanna bring this up ever again, but since im being lowkey forced to talk about it, here it is. The real reason we called it quits is bc there was a third party involved in our relationship. Instead of choosing me and what we had, she actually chose someone else over us. It was a total betrayal and honestly just a massive red flag. Im beyond disappointed with her and how everything went down. I gave her my energy and my trust, but she decided to throw it all away for someone new. Its honestly so draining to think about, but at the end of the day, I realized i deserve way better than someone who treats loyalty like its optional. Im just done with the drama and moving on for good.
