From "ALL EYES ON RAFAH"
to "RAFAH IS GONE" 🇵🇸

At the same time, Israel has stepped up its military operations in Palestine with Rafah which was once the main place people fled to in the south is now largely under Israeli control after expanded ground offensives. Israeli officials say the goal is to dismantle Hamas infrastructure and the remaining fighters believed to be operating there. Palestinian authorities and humanitarian groups describe heavy destruction, large-scale displacement, and serious shortages of food, water, and medical supplies as the fighting continues. Rafah which had sheltered hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians earlier in the war has been hit hard, adding to the already severe humanitarian situation in Palestine.

Hi, Shardle! Today, I, Runeshard’s Shinyu, invited Foster’s Giselle to go on a trip to the zoo. While we were there, Foster’s Giselle tried feeding a capybara—she was a little hesitant at first, but she eventually gathered the courage to do it. I could only chuckle softly watching her because they both looked so adorable, especially when the capybara was completely focused on eating and didn’t care about the camera at all.

We also saw cows, tigers, giant tortoises, and other animals while casually walking around the area. There were so many funny moments—from a monkey suddenly becoming active and jumping around, to a giraffe slowly approaching the fence, to the small moment when we pointed out our favorite animals to each other.

The trip felt fun and warm, especially since we ended it by eating ice cream together before heading home. 👀
