Melbourne Stars have lost their form towards the end of the group stage and now look unlikely to make the top four places. However, they have produced some exceptional performances in this campaign and they will fancy their chances of getting another win in this match.

Perth Scorchers sealed a spot for the knockout stages of BBL13，defeating Brisbane Heat in front of the home crowd at the Perth Stadium.
