DC have three wins in eight matches and they need to win five out of their remaining six games to qualify for the playoffs. GT are slightly better placed, with four wins in eight games and they need four wins out of their six games left.
The prime reasons for the teams’ shambolic show has been lack of performance from big players. For GT, the likes of Gill, Miller, Sudharsan have not lit up the tournament while Delhi suffered because of lack of runs from David Warner, Prithvi Shaw and other players. Bowling from both teams has also been average.

KKR have been a real force in IPL 2024. The team has played seven games, winning five and losing just two. They are comfortably placed at second position in the points table. KKR just need three wins in the remaining seven games to qualify for the playoffs. The real positive for KKR this season has been their positive attitude and intent. The team has been ruthless and decimated teams with their aggressive stroke play.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings have been extremely poor. Barring Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma, none of the team's batters have performed, resulting in the shambolic show.
