I, Schäfer’s Shinyu, spending the night in with Geisler’s Dohoon somehow feels more like a date than going anywhere else; no loud places, no distractions, just us filling the quiet with little things—building those red lego roses in your hands, sharing melted ice cream between lazy laughs, and letting the TV play while neither of us is really paying attention. It’s simple, maybe even boring to other people, but with you it feels different like time slows down just enough for me to notice every small detail about you. Watching you from across the room, I realize this might be what people mean when they say home isn’t a place. I don’t say much because I don’t need to you lean closer anyway, soft and obedient, like you already know where you belong.
