Night fell slowly, and the world seemed to belong only to the two of them.

Geisler’s Jay was tuning the strings. Inside the cafe there is a music room, filled with people singing. Lorth’s Sunghoon sat beside him, watching without saying much. "You should play" Geisler’s Jay said suddenly. Lorth’s Sunghoon shook his head. "I prefer listening."

They moved outside to a small seating area under a tree, warm yellow lights. Half-finished iced coffee, UNO cards scattered. "You’re cheating" Geisler’s Jay accused as he placed a +4 card. Lorth’s Sunghoon chuckled softly. "Skill issue."

Time passed without them noticing. Random conversations, never really finished. At the end of the night, Geisler’s Jay leaned against the wall, his leather jacket slightly open. Lorth’s Sunghoon stood in front of him, silent for a few seconds. "If one day all of this ends" Lorth’s Sunghoon began. Geisler’s Jay cut him off, his voice soft but certain, "Then it’s fine. At least it happened." Lorth’s Sunghoon looked at him for a long moment, then gave a faint smile. "Yeah.. at least it happened." And that night became something hard to forget.
