On Tuesday night, a new drone attack targeted one of the Freedom Flotilla’s ships, sparking a brief fire on deck that was quickly extinguished. The drone struck the British-flagged vessel Alma, docked near the port of Tunis, with the projectile landing close to at least one crew member at the bow. No injuries were reported, and the ship sustained only minor damage. Emergency protocols were activated immediately and proved effective.

The incident mirrored the attack just 24 hours earlier on the Family, the vessel carrying key organizers and figures of the Global Sumud Flotilla, including Greta Thunberg and Ada Colau. Tunisian police responded on-site as witnesses reported more drones overhead, including one from coastal authorities. With fears of further attacks overnight, security around the port has been tightened and organizers have gathered there. An investigation is now underway.
