For every unspoken apology, for every moment I should have been more understanding, for every time I let my own burdens keep me from being present, I truly, deeply hope that this night brings clarity and warmth. The world can be unkind, but I do not wish to be. I want to be softer, be more patient, more gracious—so tonight, beneath this moon that has watched over us all, I ask that we open our hearts to grace and to each other.

Eid has arrived, and with it comes a whirlwind of preparations, family gatherings, and endless moments to cherish. Between the celebrations, the warmth of loved ones, and, of course, all the delicious food, my day is going to be pretty packed.
