Where the lunar sovereign decants her inexhaustible adoration and mirth: 𑣿 (tributes bestowed) by the myriad spirits she encounters—”She harvests her ink, inscribing sagas upon the parchment of existence.”

Four years ago, when the script of El Llanto first found its way to me, I immediately felt there was something profound within it. It wasn’t just another horror tale—it carried such a powerful metaphor, a reflection on violence, woven into the story of Andrea, Camila, and Marie. These three women, bound by a mysterious and ominous force, each haunted by a single, overwhelming cry. Working alongside the incredibly talented Mathilde Ollivier and Malena Villa, our connection to these characters felt almost destined, as if we’d known them long before stepping into their world.

Presenting El Llanto at Seminci, with Pedro Martin making his debut as a director, feels like coming full circle. From spectator to filmmaker, Pedro’s journey is a testament to the beauty of cinema. This film carries more than fear—it’s an emotional, raw narrative of survival and strength that resonates far beyond the screen.

As I stand beneath the elegant arches of Teatro Zorrilla, the air buzzes with palpable anticipation. Today marks an unforgettable milestone for our team as we premiere El llanto, the debut film of the talented director, Pedro Martín Calero. Memories flood my mind, especially my first time stepping into this theater, where my passion for storytelling ignited. Pedro's heartfelt words resonate deeply; his vision has transformed into something beautiful.

Alongside my fellow actresses, Mathilde Ollivier and Malena Villa, I am filled with pride for the love and dedication poured into this project. Surrounded by the vibrant spirit of Valladolid—the city that shaped Pedro—I feel joy, knowing our hard work is finally being shared with the world. This day celebrates dreams realized and the bonds we've forged along the way, so grateful.

Stepping into the role of Andrea in El Llanto has been an unforgettable journey, and I’m beyond excited to finally share a glimpse of what’s to come. Andrea is such a character who carries the weight of untold stories, a soul caught between heartache and hope. These scenes offer just a fleeting taste of the emotions and depths we’ve poured into this film, a prelude to the unfolding of a story that I can’t wait for you all to experience. Every frame holds a piece of her truth, and soon, you’ll be able to see it for yourselves. I'm excited.

. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁In just a few hours, we step into the enchantment of Vogue’s Día de Muertos Gala once more. For the second year, we gather at the beautiful Casa de México en España, honoring a Mexican tradition that is so much more than a celebration—it’s a journey through life, joy, transcendence, and the embrace of one’s origins. Tonight promises to be a night where the past and present dance in harmony, weaving ancestral beauty into every detail.

Earlier, I stood beside my co-stars from El Llanto, Mathilde Ollivier and Malena Villa, for the photocall, dressed in black, as we prepared to step into the heart of tonight.
