Now that Ophelia has grown into such a curious little lady, I can’t help but look back at the days when she was still tiny enough to fit snugly in my arms. One of those sweet evenings, I brought her along for dinner—just the two of us, my little date for the night, all wrapped up in giggles, crumbs, soft hum of city lights.

Her mom had insisted she wouldn’t get cold, but I had a feeling and packed a soft white jacket and the sweetest beanie with pom poms anyway. Sure enough, the air turned brisk, and I was so glad I trusted my instincts. I wrapped her up like a little snowflake, cheeks pink from the cold, eyes wide with wonder. It was cuteness overload in the purest form—just us, and a bundle of softness.

To celebrate the release of my new song today, my friends and I went to the club and threw a listening party. It turned out to be one of the best nights ever. I found myself soaking in every little moment, feeling like the happiest girl in the world. Seeing all the familiar faces, and even some I didn’t recognize — dancing, smiling, and enjoying the music I’ve poured my heart into meant everything to me. I’ve worked so hard on this track, and witnessing that energy in the room was truly unforgettable.
