Good afternoon, Ilyes! It’s me, Eelje’s Jiung. I just uploaded a cover of Back Number’s song 水平線 (Horizon)—it’s in Japanese. I really enjoyed recording it, and I hope you’ll enjoy listening to it too. Also here are some photos I took during the shoot. Look at the city lights behind me—don’t they look amazing? I thought they made the perfect backdrop, so I had to take a few shots. Shooting this cover was a lot of fun anyways, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Let me tell you something, Paris is more like a ribcage and we’re all crawling underneath the bones, dressed in silk that feels like shedding skin. I’m sitting front-row at the show two days ago, but my chair is three inches off the floor and nobody notices the gravity is broken. The models walk in a line like a recurring dream you can’t ever wake up from; all long limbs.. and static noise. I think the hemlines are stitched with the secrets I whispered into my pillow back in 2019, methinks? Now look through this window with me, quick! Before the view changes again. This is my life right now. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Beautiful in a way that makes your teeth ache. I’m quite happy, I think. Talking about it feels a little strange, happiness is foreign to me. I don’t understand a single word being said, but for once, I don’t have to translate my heart into something edible. That’s the most relief I’ve felt in years. My stomach is full of anxieties but it somehow turned out to be something good, too. And I think I accidentally swallowed a key, but, which door does it open, anyway?

These were taken while I was on my way to Macau, and I took a little time to snap a few pictures. I actually miss my short hair.. but whether it’s long or short, I love them both. (Though I think I might go back to short hair, just wait a little longer, please.) Have a great, great day ahead. 🖤

I wish time could linger a little longer than it does, because every moment I spend here feels worth cherishing. The song I performed was BLUE, one of my solo tracks. Good afternoon from Paris, Ilyes.There’s a smile on my face and a lot of miles on my shoes today. Cece Anna and i have been busy crossing off everything on our Paris bucket list, and honestly, the vibe is just unmatched. It’s a mix of cheerful energy and calm reflections as we watch the city light up. Having her here makes the whole trip feel even more like a movie. Cheers to more sister-brother adventures. My handsome photo is the result of Cece Anna's portrait, her photography skills are increasingly impressive.

Just wrapped up my world tour and the encore in Seoul, Ilyes! I also performed a song for my upcoming comeback yesterday, which will be released on March 12. Now I’m ready to go back home and greet my family—my younger siblings and my older ones after being busy performing for so long. 😄💕
